Membership Has its Benefits

We are here to support you and your business or organization because when local businesses thrive, the entire community benefits. Our number one goal is to help our local organizations be successful through business and professional development opportunities. Some ways that we go about accomplishing that goal are:

Visibility – The most important thing for a business is to get your name out there. We get inquiries from residents and visitors on a regular basis and we always recommend our local chamber members first!

Information – The Chamber strives to be the epicenter of information for our local organizations. As we gather important info, we pass it along to you!

Access – The Chamber’s Committees: Ambassador’s Club, Beautification Committee, Route 66 Farmer’s Market, Merchants Committee, and the Celebrate St. Clair Banquet Committee each sponsor community events that give you a chance to get involved and to actively recruit prospective customers or donors from right here in our community.

Community & Economic Development – With all the hard work that our City officials have been putting in to increase the potential for retail development, your Chamber is working hard to attract the types of businesses and industries that this community needs.

Training & Education – Our monthly luncheons, on the 4th Wednesday of each month in the Windows to the West meeting room at Budget Lodging, offer training and education opportunities for you and your employees. Our monthly meetings also give you the opportunity to Spotlight your business!

Networking – In today’s increasingly electronic world, it’s important for local business owners and organization executives to network and share their successes and challenges. Our quarterly Business After Hours events are a place for you to get advice from those in our community that have experience starting and maintaining successful businesses.

Advocacy – Here at the Chamber we do our best to keep you up to date on the local, regional, state, and federal issues that affect our membership and the community as a whole. What happens to your local employees and customers does have an impact on your organization, even if you are a national chain. We fight for you so that you can focus on the day-to-day activities that make your business a success!

We strive to find new and valuable ways to help our local businesses. Give Charlene Saling a call to find out more. Join the St. Clair Area Chamber of Commerce today and help us move St. Clair forward!
